UNDERSTAND THE THREE-SCREEN SETUP

On a compatible Windows system, MST can extend your desktop across two external displays while the laptop screen remains active. Three screens means the laptop display plus two external monitors, not three external monitors.

Up to 4K at 60Hz: available resolution and refresh rate depend on the host, its video bandwidth, the dock configuration, cables and active displays. This is not a promise of simultaneous dual 4K at 60Hz.

CHECK BEFORE CONNECTING

The computer matters as much as the dock.

USB-C video support: connect to a host port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. A charging-only or data-only USB-C port cannot provide the required video signal.

Windows multi-display use: the host must support MST and the intended number of active screens. Check its graphics capabilities and select an extended-display layout in the operating system.

Important for Mac users: macOS does not support MST for two independent extended desktops through these video outputs. Do not select this dock for that purpose. Confirm single-display or mirrored operation for your exact Mac before ordering.

More than a monitor connection.

Keep data and charging connections distinct. A port labeled for USB-C data is not automatically a video output or a laptop charging input. No specific PD wattage or USB data rate is promised here.
