- Maximum 140W charging requires a compatible Mac model, charging protocol and operating condition.
- The connected Mac determines the actual power it accepts. A lower-power Mac will not continuously draw the charger's full rated output.
- The built-in connector is designed for Mac notebooks equipped with MagSafe 3 and is not compatible with original MagSafe or MagSafe 2 ports.
- The integrated MagSafe 3-compatible cable does not connect directly to USB-C-only laptops, tablets or smartphones.
- Charging speed may vary with battery level, device temperature, system workload, software settings and ambient conditions.
